The Calf Shed

Super, super nice place just outside of Alston. Lovely cottages, good facilities with garage, shop, cafe amenities available a short drive away. Had a very comfortable month here. You have a lovely family running the place too, they can’t do enough for you. Watch out for the kids though, far too polite, apart from the two who used to ambush me with water pistols after coming back from a day’s hiking!

Very comfortable and you feel at home and relaxed in great place. Also the surrounding areas are a dream to explore again and again. It's Fantastic. Really is wild open spaces. Nice one...
