Amigos Café & Bar

Absolutely lovely place to have brunch, lunch, coffee, dinner and everything in between. Isabella and her team are very forthcoming and friendly. Staff speaks Portuguese, English and German and is very attentive and helpful. We went for brunch on a Saturday morning and ended up playing scrabble and Uno by the comfy fireplace after a very delicious meal. We had two amazing meals at Amigos Cafe & Bar. By far the best brunch on the mainland of Portugal. Get all the comforts of a home cooked meal with the Amigos breakfast, or spice it up and try the Shakshuka. Both were absolutely delicious! We enjoyed brunch so much, we had to come back for dinner. The Petiscos menu was great for sharing with friends and family, which was exactly what we were looking for. We ordered several dishes including the charred padron peppers, the white fish croquettes, the slow cooked lamb, the charred cabbage salad and the falafel. All were excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. There is also an excellent wine and craft beer selection to accompany the meal. The renovated dining room provided an excellent vibe and the fire made us all warm and cozy. Staff were wonderful and the owner/head chef, Isabella is a real professional. Very creative menu and perfectly executed. Our new favourite restaurant. We are definitely going back.

Wonderful out-of-the-way place with charming hosts. We went in November and they had an American-style Thanksgiving dinner. It was very good. The staff was very kind and attentive even though they had a large crowd. Would definitely go back
