Overnight stay for a 50th Birthday Party. Lovely clean and comfy room. Tracey was really helpful on discovering my husband had only book a room for one! 😂 Tracey got our booking sorted with a smile, and gave us extra towels immediately. Nothing was too much trouble. Excellent service. I would certainly recommend this Premier Inn to friends.

Room was comfortable, but marked down as there was a stalle smell coming from the bathroom/ carpet. Tracey at the Front desk was very helpful and welcoming. The food in the linked pub seems to have improved since our last visit, so we had a good meal too.

A regular stop-off heading North for me. Sadly it's getting fairly worn-out nowadays but the service makes up for that and of course the on-site pub (Flaming Grill) having massive support from the locals while not being enslaved to Whitbread means it is always full, supplies cheap food and drink, and is open until 11pm. Please take note, Whitbread! The hot skillet Hunters Chicken is my favourite here and under 12 quid. Sadly breakfast is always special order rather than buffet, but on this occasion was supplied in very quick time. Service here is always good.
