Vējavas

We found out a legal forest road, that took us to the closest fire place to the beach, it is over the river where the parking lot is. We set up our tent and spent a wonderful night there. Next day the super agressive owner of Vejavas (who is collecting money for parking on hers property) drove with her scooter to our tent, our Labrador dog made just one bark to her. She looked in to us with very angry eyes and didn’t tell nothing. One hour later came two policeman and said that we have to leave from There, because we have a big dog and some people dont like it and also the land owner wanted us to leave. We were so separated that any people even didn’t see that we have a dog. But we said ok, if the land owner says so, then we must leave. Later at home I checked from maps and discovered that the place where we staid is a public land, not her land even. The river is a line between her and public land. Pretty sure that she was angry because, we were not staying on her land and we did not pay to her. What a rude acting by her, also lying to police that it is her land. Our weekend was ruined just because the owner of Vejavas is so rude.

Stayed here for a week in the surprising hot week of weather. Fishing in the sea was good and very local. Fabulous location and my shoes stayed off.

Nice and calm place close to sea. Few cottages are situated on the edge of the forest.Every single cottage is equiped by grill and small bbq site. We have spend just one night there,but it was pleasant and comfortable.
