The Sandrock Lynton

Amazing food, amazing service, fab relaxing evening on their outdoor seating area overlooking a lovely view. Super dog friendly. The calamari starter was deliciously crispy and moreish. We ordered the pork belly as a main, it was done to perfection, the mash was excellent and so were the vegetables. The brownie was gluten free and not too sweet so the ice cream that was with it was the perfect balance of sweetness. The sticky toffee pudding was also perfect. Definitely recommend this lovely place.

A warm welcome and family friendly. We first visited for the Sunday roast which was perfect, even a very fussy 8 year old loved it and wanted more! We then visited again with a larger group during the week, the pork belly was fantastic as was the chicken chasseur. The owner was running the b&b and bar single handedly along with a chef for the evening food but both were very friendly and happy to chat and make sure we were satisfied with the food etc. Well worth a visit if you are around, we will be back when we are next here!

We were staying in a guest house on opposite side of the road and popped in here for a drink.what a lovely place very warm welcoming atmosphere, good selection of ale's.sat outside on the patio very relaxed and chilled. Popped in again the following evening and had a meal, great menu and highly recommend the food our meal was excellent. Will book here to stay next time we visit. A+++
