Ferienhaus Wendelinus

A perfect getaway in the heart of the Black Forest! Our stay at Ferienhaus Wendelinus was absolutely delightful. A true gem in the tranquil Black Forest, the holiday home offers both peace and luxury. The house itself is spacious, immaculately clean and beautifully decorated to make you feel right at home. A highlight was the private sauna - a perfect way to relax after a day of exploring the stunning surroundings. The pool was equally amazing, offering a refreshing escape with breathtaking views of the lush forest. Whether we were relaxing by the pool or enjoying a cozy evening by the fireplace, every moment felt special. The location is ideal for nature lovers, with plenty of hiking trails and charming villages nearby. Yet the property is secluded enough to offer complete privacy and tranquility. The hosts were incredibly warm and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We highly recommend Ferienhaus Wendelinus and are already looking forward to our next visit!

We stayed here over New Year's Eve 2025/26 with four adults, two children, and two dogs. The vacation home is beautiful. The attention to detail was immediately apparent. The furnishings are very modern, and everything was spotlessly clean. There are several walking and hiking trails right by the house. The whirlpool and sauna offer wonderful opportunities for relaxation. Even with freezing temperatures outside, the whirlpool stayed warm for a long time. We were absolutely delighted and would love to come back.

It doesn't really need more than one word: fantastic! Nevertheless ;) Here are a few more words. I discovered the holiday home some time ago while stopping at the restaurant across the street. It took a while before we actually booked, but we've rarely been as relaxed on vacation as we were in the apartment there. Well-equipped, everything modern and clean. We stayed in the larger apartment with two couples and two dogs, and we really didn't miss a thing; simply fantastic. The landlord was easy to reach and extremely nice. Even when we unfortunately broke something, the contact was super friendly. All in all, highly recommended!
