Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel

Lovely hotel with rustic rooms.Sharon at front desk was so helpful. We were moving around but so wished we had used this hotel for our base. Will definitely go back. Great restaurant on site and tourist shop. Only slight suggestion our room was cold when we arrived (but soon warmed up) Staff really make this place they all deserve a massive Xmas bonus ! Not sure if it’s connected but the Loch Ness experience on site didn’t accept cash which was annoying See you again dear Drum friends !

Stayed one night in one of the outbuilding rooms. It was good to be able to park right outside. The room was a bit dated and tired but serviceable. Dinner was a bit of a disappointment. I ordered a pizza and being honest, it was no better than an average supermarket pizza. Service was pretty good though.

My stay at the Loch Ness Drumnadrochit Hotel felt like stepping back into the 1980s. The retro vibe was an interesting experience, almost charming in its nostalgia, but it came with mixed impressions. The rooms were clean and offered decent value for money, which was a pleasant surprise. However, the restaurant and food quality left much to be desired. Breakfast was, without a doubt, the most disappointing part of the stay. It was the most lackluster and uninspiring meal I’ve ever had in a hotel. The sausages, which seemed to be made from questionable “Loch Ness mystery meat,” were far from appetizing. The overall breakfast spread felt like something you’d find in a medieval dormitory—sparse, outdated, and utterly devoid of flavor or variety. While the hotel has its charms, the dining experience desperately needs an upgrade to match the scenic allure of Loch Ness. :( food disaster
