Kalabash Apartments

This is the 3rd year we spend at Kalabash Appartments and this alone should speak of how much we love this place. Surrounded by mountains and only a 5 minutes drive away from center Sovata, it is the perfect holiday stay. Whether you want to relax by the pool or in the traditional salt tub (ciubăr) or grab the electric fat bikes to visit the surrounding areas, you can do it all! There is something to do for people of all ages. The facilities are very clean and well maintained and we enjoyed the care and hospitality of the hosts. Cannot wait until next year’s vacation! 5 reasons to visit the Kalabash: 1. You are tired of the city noise, and want birds song and the sound of a creek instead. 2. You want to spend time with family, where nobody gets bored, yet you are together. 3. You want to spend time with your friends or co-workers, make a barbecue contest, relax by the pool and in the sauna. Rent it out, and the place is yours. 4. You want to heal your back pain or sore limbs with heated mineral salt water, brought from the nearby well-spring. 5. Explore the Salt-county, with a solid base camp. You can use the electric bike facility for a fee. What you get: - Fully equipped house with two bedrooms, living room kitchen, bathroom and a nice balcony. - Ideal for 4, but can fit 6 using the sofa in the living room. - Cleanness and privacy, in a wooden valley with the sound of Sovata creek. - Your own barbecue grill in your private garden. Ask for a grilled aubergine cream recipe from the staff. - Heated swimming pool, 140 cm deep, suitable for children or non-swimmers. Heated salt water pool, fresh water jakuzzi, and a sauna. - A common fireplace to gather with friends. - A platform next to the creek, with armchairs and tables, yet another place to flock together. - Playground for children, a big room to play ping-pong or spend time if it rains. - Chance to go electric biking; it will make even the most difficult slopes feel flat. - A trout farm within walking distance; your chances for a good catch is 100%. - Friendly neighbours, but in case not, enforced house rules, so that your vacation is not ruined by others

Wonderfull place, it is placed in mountains at the edge of Sovata. Sauna, jacuzzi, pool and outside bath with warm salted water. Very friendly people will meet you and take care about you. 4-th or 5-th time here, and we will return back
