Casa Rural Restaurante Parada de Francos

We had a lovely stay at Casa Rural Parada de Franco. Our rooms were on the top floor, and though we struggled to get suitcases up the stairs at the end of a camino day, we were so glad to enjoy the afternoon on the balcony. Lovely! Dinner was extraordinary, the best meal I've had since arriving in Spain. Everything was clean and comfortable.

We had a family of six and had an entire house to ourselves. Rooms were clean, bathrooms were clean and showers were hot and powerful. Beds were very comfortable. Relaxed in the garden on the chairs after a long day. Breakfast was good. We saw who we believe was Pepe in the morning. He could have smiled and greeted us for breakfast. But I don't know his story so no judging. The girl was friendly. Also, it is right on the camino. We had dinner at Restaurante San Martino.

Avoid if possible! This was booked for us by Walk the Camino and we loved all of our other accommodations except this one I found bugs in my bed We had the worst lunch of our whole trip Calamari that was tough and chewy and when we told them we couldn’t even eat it they completely ignored us. There a signs everywhere saying you can’t eat your own food or you will be charged 20 euros!!!!
