Hotel Grundmühle

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel with my dog. The room was clean and comfortable, with enough closet space, a fridge and a safe. I also really appreciated the dog bowl and a towel provided, it’s the little things that make all the difference. We both felt very comfortable and welcome here. The staff is very kind and helpful. Their sustainability efforts are also worth mentioning (no plastic amenities).

We were on a cycling trip and arrived early( 1030 am) thou it was way too early to check into our room. we were able to store our bikes and luggage. the staff was awesome in giving us tips for things to see, how to use the local transport, were to eat etc. within the first 1/2 hour of our arrival we already decided we would recommend Hotel Grundmuhle to friends . Very friendly. Spoke excellent English ( about all we know in German was hello and thank you!) Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. the included breakfast fueled us for the next leg of our cycling journey. We are from Canada

Nice place. Sufficient parking space. Lots of hiking possibilities nearby. The breakfast is good, bit lacks creativity. Basically the buffet is the same every day.
