GCU Arrens-Marsous

27€ for 2p tent, not what Id expect for that money...

One of the gems of the GCU (community campsite). A magnificent and peaceful site. A campsite located in the heart of the village, but you wouldn't know it from the moment you're there, except for the bell of the small church. A host of hikes are accessible all around the campsite or by driving a short distance. The Azun Valley is full of activities, from the village's leisure center (swimming pool, sports activities) to the two cross-country skiing areas in the hills. Mountain biking, paragliding, fishing trails, and more. Two legendary passes within pedaling distance for cyclists (Soulor and Aubisque). And for hikers, from short, easy walks to loops with mountain huts... everything is possible... In short, a paradise for a mountain vacation.

The GCU atmosphere is "like it used to be," meaning with friendly and respectful people. Very well located. Quiet at night apart from a few ill-mannered village dogs that bark.
