Mercure Paignton Hotel

We had a wonderful stay on a DBB basis. We had a super dinner with friends where the chef personally took the time to introduce every course accompanied by a wine flight. Also perfectly introduced by a knowledgeable member of staff. Sophie looked after us beautifully, she went above and beyond. Not only did she look after us late into the night, she was also there at breakfast. In fact, all the staff were so friendly! The rooms were beautiful, incredibly comfy beds and the breakfast had loads of choice, plenty to suit everyone. All round fabulous evening 😍

We originally were booked into the Ibis next door, but were upgraded to the Mercure. We only stayed for one night, but we loved it. The rooms were spotless and the staff were very friendly. We felt very secure and the beds were so comfortable! Parking was only £15 in the private car park which was a reasonable cost. We were right on the seafront too which was great. Really enjoyed our stay and we would stay again!

The hotel itself was perfect, modern and very clean. The staff were excellent and worked very hard to make everything perfect for the guests. Our room was warm and spacious and I particularly loved the view over the beach. Food was incredible considering how full the hotel was. All in all a very enjoyable stay and would not hesitate to come back. Keep up the good work !
