...We were in Bad Schandau a few days ago. What can I say? An incredibly charming little town. The Wartburg apartment building is truly worth a visit. So peaceful, nestled in the woods and surrounded by mountains. A wonderful place to relax. Even the rain had a certain calming charm in this little corner of the world. We stayed in the Malerweg apartment on the upper floor. We lacked nothing. Lovingly furnished. A lovely experience, and we will definitely visit this apartment again. A wonderful autumn holiday. The holiday apartment is in a truly excellent location, situated on the historic tram line that winds through the Kirnitzsch Valley and stops right outside the door. It's perfect for anyone who enjoys hiking and wants to end the evening relaxing on the terrace surrounded by nature, perhaps even taking a quick dip in the Kirnitzsch River. The town center of Bad Schandau, with its restaurants and thermal baths, is also within easy walking distance. The supermarket is even open on Sundays and public holidays. The apartments were all recently renovated (November 2024), unfortunately, only older photos are available. It's also clear that the owners are constantly investing in the already spacious grounds, so you can even enjoy a game of badminton on the freshly mowed lawn. The balcony of the lower apartment appears to have been recently renovated as well, making it a comfortable spot for breakfast. A barbecue is also provided. Next door is a small garden shed, also fully equipped and in excellent condition. We are completely satisfied and highly recommend this holiday accommodation as a real insider tip!
