First, the host entered our room at midnight without prior notice, violating our privacy and rest. Furthermore, the access road to the accommodation is dangerous: a narrow, poorly paved mountain road for 15 minutes, with steep drops and precipices along the way. Upon reaching the entrance to the property, there is another 5 minutes of uneven, sandy road that damaged our car due to the poor condition of the terrain. These two issues constitute a lack of safety that is not communicated beforehand. Second, the sanitary conditions do not meet the minimum requirements. Breakfast included eggs from the neighbor's hens, without any hygiene or food safety controls. This poses a real risk of salmonella. For this reason, we were forced to forgo breakfast on the second day. Thirdly, the information and photos published on Booking.com are misleading and do not correspond to reality: it states that the rooms have private bathrooms, but one of them only had a shower and sink, and guests had to share the toilet with the host, her family, and other guests; the hairdryer in the bathroom was covered in cobwebs and spiderwebs. It is advertised as a hotel, when in reality it is a private home shared with the host and her family; the common areas such as the dining room, kitchen, and cooking utensils cannot be used freely; guests are not allowed to store food in the refrigerator because it is for private use, nor can they use the microwave, nor eat in the dining room, except at breakfast; The barbecue, besides being rusty and in poor condition, was not available as indicated in the Booking.com listing. The terrace, supposedly designated for relaxing and dining, lacked lighting, and we were warned about the presence of wild boars. This forced us to have dinner around 9:30 pm in the dark because there was no light on the terrace, and it was the only table available for guests. We also ate without plates or cutlery, and the food was cold because there were no plates or cutlery provided for guests, and we couldn't use the microwave. We left before enjoying everything we had booked because the minimum conditions for staying at the accommodation were not met.

First and foremost, this is neither a hotel nor an apartment. What you're renting is a room in the owner's house, where she and her family live, and you have to share the space with her. This isn't mentioned anywhere on Booking.com, and it's not at all what we expected given the price and the description and photos of the place. After this initial shock, everything went downhill when we brought groceries for our stay and prepared our own meals, which seemed to greatly annoy the owner. The only space you can use without any problems is the bedroom (except when the owner "accidentally" enters without prior notice). If you want to use the other spaces, you'll be met with disapproval or outright refusal. The bedroom doors have locks, but they don't close, so forget about any privacy. Furthermore, as other reviews mention (though they don't do it justice), the drive to the house is awful. After about 15 minutes of driving along a very narrow, poorly paved "mountain road," with ravines on one side and precipices on the other (you'd better be lucky if you encountered oncoming traffic, because our very narrow car barely fit; two cars passing each other was impossible), you arrive at the entrance to the property. There, you're faced with another 7 or 8 minutes of driving on loose, sandy slopes riddled with significant unevenness due to water erosion, which nearly wrecked our car. Honestly, it was the worst accommodation experience I've ever had, and for a price that couldn't have been further from the truth.

I want to express my sincere gratitude to Pascale for her warm welcome and kindness. If you're looking to disconnect and unwind in a truly pleasant setting, you've come to the right place. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the farmhouse boasts a truly exceptional fireplace, especially during the winter months. Pascale, our host, prepares a delicious homemade breakfast and dinner. I highly recommend a stay here.
