Das Ronacher - Thermal Spa Hotel

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My stay at Hotel Ronacher was absolutely exceptional and by far my favorite 5-star hotel in the area. The room was spacious, spotless, and beautifully maintained, with an extremely comfortable bed and pillows that ensured perfect rest. The spa area is impressive—large, serene, and offering a wide variety of saunas. I especially loved the daily healthy activity program, including yoga, balance exercises, aqua yoga, and aqua cycling, which added great value to the stay. Cleanliness is outstanding throughout the entire hotel. For skiers, everything is very well organized: you can conveniently purchase ski passes directly at reception, and there is a warm, dedicated room for storing ski equipment. And of course, the people make all the difference. The staff is truly amazing—professional, warm, incredibly polite, and always ready to help with a smile. Their hospitality makes you feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. The food is another highlight: gourmet, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious, with many ingredients sourced from local farmers, which makes the dining experience even more special. I’ve stayed in several 5-star hotels in Bad Kleinkirchheim, but this one stands out clearly above the rest. Highly recommended—I can’t wait to return.

Hotel Das Ronacher did not meet my expectations. It does not fulfill the 5-star standard. While the hotel premises are generally clean, the room was satisfactory, though the bedsheets were not changed during my 7-day stay, and essential amenities were lacking, with no water refills provided. The hotel places a strong emphasis on wellness and fitness, which was a pleasant surprise, featuring a yoga room and a well-equipped gym. However, it is unusual for a hotel of this caliber to lack a separate children’s pool or spa area. I understand that renovations are a gradual process, but this has resulted in a chaotic and outdated atmosphere rather than a modern and comfortable one. The food quality was good, but again, comparable to a 4-star level. Overall, the hotel requires improvements in several areas. While I appreciate their efforts, it is insufficient. Compared to other Austrian 5-star hotels, it ranks at the lower end for me.

Dear Simone Ronacher, For many years we have been guests at the Ronacher Hotel. These are always special days of relaxation, mental rejuvenation, and peace. Each year is more beautiful than the last. I would like to congratulate the entire Ronacher staff for the professionalism and kindness we always receive. A big thank you to all the waiters at breakfast, dinner, and the bar who are always attentive and professional, always with a smile and a kind gesture. We feel at home.
