Berghotel & Gasthof Marlstein

First of all, this hotel is a small boutique hotel where the majority of its employees are relatives. So it is a family business. They were very friendly and supportive. Everytime when you have a question or request, they were there to help you. For example, I had a small accident and broke my shoulder and they helped me get to the hospital and bring me back to the hotel. That's why we felt like at home and we felt a part of the family :) Breakfast and dinner was amazing. I must say that this is not so common to have that kind of delicious meal that you can find easily. Every day there was a different menu and there were options for the main dishes. We enjoyed all of these courses we tried during our stay. Location was also good. Outside of your balcony, you can see a really nice mountain view. There are some trekking options outside of the hotel. There was a free shuttle to the skii location (Hochoetz) in the morning and pick up from the same place in the afternoon. You just need to write your name to the shuttle list. In addition to that, you can go to the Kühtai skii location by free bus. There was a small playroom for kids which our kids really like to play there.

Beautiful mountain view for room looking down the valley. Amazing food, breakfast and dinner. Hiking everywhere. Very recommended for families with children. Great and attentive staff. 10min down to Oetz and the surrounding area. You can even cross the border into Italy within 90min if you feel like it.

Excellent place to stay for mountain lovers/hikers, clean and very up to date rooms and holiday appartment, sublime hospitality and quality of food and service, nice sauna area. Our son especially liked the outdoor table tennis table and the fast 4G internet connection :-)
