After some rather mediocre experiences in Rauris, for various reasons, this is a ray of hope. Anyone seeking Austrian hospitality and an excellently run family-run hotel is in the best hands here. There's something for every family or group size. I was impressed by the excellent quality of all the rooms and apartments. The breakfast is excellent, and requests are taken into account. The ambience is typical of the region, and the interior isn't run-of-the-mill.

Dear Daum family, Thank you so much for the pleasant time in your beautiful, clean, and friendly guesthouse. I immediately felt at home in your house, slept very well, and looked forward to the delicious breakfast every morning. The fantastic location, right next to the valley station and close to the village center, completes the whole experience. This was our first time here with our Hovawart, and we had a very large, beautiful apartment, as our son had come along for a skiing trip. The guesthouse rivals any good 4-star hotel; it's very clean and well-maintained, and the breakfast was perfectly adequate. If we had wanted to cook, the kitchen was fully equipped. Our apartment was even cleaned, and our requests were accommodated. Mrs. Daum took great care of us, and she bakes wonderful, delicious cakes! We've already booked again and are looking forward to returning!
