B&B metro B

The property certainly enjoys a good location in Rome, but unfortunately there are several critical issues to report. The rooms are extremely small, with very little room to move around; the bathroom is tiny, so much so that the sink looks like something from a dollhouse or a nursery. It's located on a mezzanine floor without any protection, which could be inconvenient or potentially dangerous. Overall, it might only be suitable for very short stays and for those with very basic needs, but the limited space is certainly a significant limitation.

The B&B was convenient only for its relatively low price and the Jonio metro station right across the street. Otherwise, it was quite disappointing. The room was tiny, barely roomy enough to put down and open a suitcase. It was dirty, very dirty, as we found hair and other debris on the floor as soon as we entered. The sheets and bedspread weren't entirely clean, already stained. The bathroom has a hot water boiler, but I believe this applies to all three rooms in the B&B, so we even ended up showering with cold water because with three rooms occupied by guests, the hot water ran out quickly. The toilet brush was broken, dust was everywhere, and I think the glass in the only window had been damaged when it was installed, perhaps because it's not worth cleaning every now and then. The refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy, and it was poorly soundproofed. The owner was kind but very insistent in continuing to call to find out the arrival time even though we had already communicated it previously. I understand that one has to organize oneself, but when you communicate a check-in time between 2 and 8 pm, the guest sticks to this and gives you an approximate arrival time between 6 and 7 pm. It is not possible to call them three times, making them anxious to know when exactly they will arrive, because then you do not give a time slot but rather a precise time so that one knows.

A three-room B&B convenient to the metro in the Jonio area. The room and bathroom are clean, but the shower is small. Breakfast is available at a café behind the building.
