The cottage is absolutely amazing and I can strongly recommend it. According to the pictures in the breakfast room, the cottage dates back to 1890. Host is exceptionally nice and friendly. There are several places to eat in the area including pizza, Chinese food and a pub. The place is totally worth the money!

Gorgeous cottage with a fantastic location! It’s very central in Fort Augustus and an easy walk to a large amount of facilities. The room was incredibly comfortable. I’d happily stay here again and will be recommending it to family and friends who may travel this way.

If there were 6 stars Abbey Cottage would get them. An exceptionally clean, greatly located BNB with a personal touch and a keen eye for detail. Rooms were large with an ensuite bathroom. The room had a great drink station with tea coffee and water, a large tv as well as very comfortable bed with extra pillows and blankets in the cupboard. In the morning we were greeted with our choice of a full hot breakfast made to order with lots of little extras to choose from like juice, yoghurt, muffins, toast, tea and coffee. The town itself is literally outside the front door and is a very cute little village. Very high praise to the owner!
