I have kept my horses here at Martleaves Farm for 11 years, some of the owners have been here longer. I love having my horses on livery here next to the sea with the stunning views. My horses love it too. There are 10 horses in a mixed herd from 2 - 30 years old including the cute, cheeky Shetlands to the majestic heavy horse and various breeds and colours in-between. There are 8 owners including the campsite owner. Some of us including myself, have worked professionally with horses in the past. We all love our horses and feel extremely sad at the review about the horse being hit. Our horses are loved, receive regular hoof care and vet visits including physio therapy and healing when required. I can absolutely guarantee that no horse is badly treated here. We are like a horse family and support each other when needed. If you see something that you don't like or are unsure about then just come up and ask us what's going on. We love nothing more, than chatting about our beloved horses. I chatted to many campers last summer and they all enjoyed observing and photographing the horses and other animals. You may see me using a long whip and a flag to train my young horse. I can promise he is never hit and it is used for guidance and training. I hope you continue to enjoy your visits and please feel free to ask us anything about our beautiful horses.

Martleaves Magic: Where Coastal Views Meet Camper Bliss! Martleaves Farm Campsite was the ideal location to set up camp while visiting our friend who lives, quite conveniently, right next to the site! Accessibility: If you’re driving anything larger than a standard car or campervan, follow the campsite’s directions—satnav will lead you down narrow roads with parked cars. Location: Perfectly placed for exploring Chesil Beach, Weymouth, or Portland. Stunning sea views and a short walk to East Fleet Estuary from the campsite. Facilities: Clean, well-maintained female and male toilet and shower blocks, plus an undercover dishwashing area. Atmosphere & Staff: While a working farm, it still felt peaceful with plenty of space and a relaxed vibe for an adult's only campsite. Staff were friendly, and made check-in easy. Value for Money: Excellent rates for such a prime location and great facilities—worth every penny! I would happily return and recommend Martleaves Farm - perfect mix of stunning views, great facilities, and peaceful surroundings.

This place is really chilled with lovely views over Chesil beach, a 5 min walk down to east fleet estuary. The toilets are always clean with hot water however they could do with putting a mixer on the showers as sometimes it's extremely hot. Its a 10 min bus ride to waymouth and has some local takeaways if required. I wouldn't stay here during bad weather as I am sure tents will vanish as its completely open to the elements with high winds off the sea. Staff are friendly also and dont bother u but u know they are there if u need anything.
