We stayed at this B&B for five nights. The owner is originally from Puglia, and his wife is Japanese. We had a very clean and beautifully decorated room, which was very comfortable. Every morning, they served freshly brewed coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, and several kinds of freshly baked bread for breakfast. Although we rented a car, they also offer optional transportation to the airport, the nearest train station, or the bus station, and they also offer tours to various tourist sites. The town of Castellaneta offers a unique experience of the everyday life of local Italians, unlike the tourist destinations of other major Italian cities. Its convenient location allows you to explore most of Puglia on day trips, including Alberobello, Ostuni, Matera, Lecce, Otranto, Castel del Monte, and Pognano a Mare. The church in the old town surrounding the B&B was truly beautiful, the most impressive of all the churches we saw during our trip. Additionally, hiking in the Gravina di Castellaneta in Castellaneta offers breathtaking views that are soothing to both body and mind, and also leaves you feeling a sense of great energy. We are truly glad that we were able to stay at this B&B. Please come here and experience the wonderful views, air, and good energy that can be felt from here. Highly recommended. It's been 10 years since I last stayed at this inn. My husband and I traveled to Italy and were nervous when we arrived at Barrie airport, but the owners of the inn came to pick us up. Yuko and Giovanni welcomed us so warmly, and we've stayed with them for two years in a row. The breakfast served on the inn's rooftop terrace is absolutely amazing. The small town of Castellaneta is also a fun place where you can walk around safely. You can also visit Matera and Alberobello from here. Staying here has made me love Puglia even more, and Italy in general.
