Lido Camping Village

Wasn’t at its best as we arrived for one night in heavy rain . But a warm welcome , English spoken & the best shower/loo/laundry/wash up area we have ever seen .10/10. Very big site with lots of facilities but as not busy & weather most were shut. Supermarket was open and carried most things.

Beautiful, even resort like shared spaces! Very beautiful promenade at the lake with beaches and beautiful plants!! Felt like a real holiday village! However, we did not enjoy the pitches ... no privacy, no water nearby, no bushes or grass. But there is a nice atmosphere and the other camping guest are somehow nicer than on other campings.. One negative note, there was a very unpleasant arrogant and angry looking old guy at the reception, you feel very bad energy from him.

This was a five star camping, we have visited for the past 10+ years. The location is still beautiful, and so are the facilities. One change in the rules made me award it only four stars. Dogs are now allowed, previously they were not. I am a dog-person, i love dogs, and i have one at home. I am of the opinion that they do not belong here. The endless barking really conflicts with the image of the serene piece of paradise the camping once was. The dogs urinate against the trees and bushes, wetting walking paths. some leashed dogs bark at all the passersby, scaring some of the older people. Some nights two dogs just keep on barking to each other. Perhaps there should only be a part of the camping where dogs are allowed.
