Hôtel de la Sage - Boutique Hôtel

We stayed at Hotel de la Sage as part of our Haute Route during the summer and it was such a wonderful stay. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff, fantastic food and a very homely, warm, alpine aesthetic. The main room was particularly lovely to relax in and read. The three of us stayed in one of the hiker rooms on the top floor and felt it was excellent value for money. We can highly recommend. The breakfast is also great - varied and substantial to power you through the next day's hiking!

Wonderful place for delicious plates of food, good selection of drinks, a comfy bed, landscape views and super friendly host. We stayed 2 days, having only planned to stay 1. Ine and Matthis were superb hosts and Ine arranged a massage for me at the hotel too. There's a nice loop walk up to Villaz and back, plus a lovely nearby restaurant for lunch with a balcony overlooking the valley. We were able to check-in early and they have a cat who loves smelly hikers :-) Couldn't get near it so I was obviously too clean, unlike another guest who's chair was appealing - ha ha ha, inside joke!

A charming hotel decorated with taste. The view is breathtaking. Comfortable and charming rooms. The food, including chef dishes, is served with taste and is very tasty. The hotel manager, Ine, is simply amazing. There are no words to describe the good service, the caring and kindness and the concern for the guests. She helped us with booking a shuttle for the rest of the trip due to a weather problem and made sure to close all the reservations with the driver. Highly recommend and warmly. We will definitely go there again if we are in the area Levy
