Bed & Breakfast Rosandra

I found it by chance online, given the lack of accommodation options due to the May Day long weekend. I booked it right away, even though I was looking for something in the center of Trieste. We were delighted with our choice and pleasantly surprised by the surrounding area, which we never thought we'd visit. For those who choose it, keep in mind that the bed, located in the beautiful mezzanine, is accessed by a very narrow spiral staircase, so those with limited mobility won't be able to access it. The apartment is cozy and beautiful, all wood and stone. Margherita is friendly and helpful. We only stayed one night and didn't use the kitchenette. We plan to return for more excursions in the surrounding area.

Stayed for 2 days with my wife, April 8-9, 2023. This isn't meant as a criticism, but rather as a suggestion and encouragement for three young brothers, eager and very polite, who have taken over the only available accommodation, replacing their mother. The accommodation, created by their father's skillful hand and creativity, is delightful. The brothers are very kind, and the breakfast, served in their room, is high-quality and plentiful. Suggestions for improvement include: - Greater care should be taken in providing personal hygiene soap (a used, smelly bar of soap is unacceptable. I can handle anything, but the unpleasant sensation remains). - The mosaic shower niche needs more attention, or an easily cleanable countertop cover should be added. - If the shower head had a slightly longer hose and a faucet, it could be used for a bidet over the toilet. - Add a bidet towel. - The bathroom shelves are not dirty, but a little dusty. - If you mention the presence of a kitchenette, you must provide the bare minimum (a plate, a small pan, etc.). - Finally, updating the rental price online can't be done after you've spoken to the client over the phone! Even if it's a few days before Easter. Come on! It can be improved, and I'm sure you'll keep that in mind.

In the charming and relaxing Val Rosandra, this welcoming and well-kept B&B is an excellent choice. It features a lovely studio apartment with a mezzanine, and is run by a very friendly and helpful family. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended, we will gladly return.
