Fantastic food at The King of Prussia! Oysters were perfection and the scotch egg was cooked perfectly, asked for the best table with it being our first night in Cornwall and they were lovely enough to accommodate it. Will be visiting again before we leave!

By the looks of the photos perhaps The King of Prussia is all about food rather than drinking. We popped in for a quick drink and whilst being perfectly reasonable - good views, nice staff, board games - it lacks the atmosphere of other pubs in town. There are slightly better places to grab a pint nearby.

It's a great hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff; nothing is too much trouble. Food is very good. Nice breakfast, but, strangely, no toast and marmalade with the full English. I don't doubt, though, that it would have been provided if requested. It is NOT suitable for disabled or people with a walking issue. It's a long way from the town car park and the walk is very steep. There is a town bus which can take you to the car park when it's running. There are several very deep stone steps up to the entrance to the hotel. There is no lift and the rooms are upstairs. The compensation for walking up several flights of stairs, is the view! Absolutely stunning.
