Casa Argenti

Don’t hesitate to book - Casa Argenti is a little gem. On our 4th day of walking in Umbria, we made it to the top of the hill in Arrone and discovered our favorite stop along our entire path. Elga and her mother greeted us warmly. While Italian breakfast was included, dinner that very night was also available for a reasonable cost in her “home restaurant.” Not an ordinary meal! Elga was formerly a private chef on a yacht before returning to her hometown and setting up this BnB; her worldliness shines through in the details. She accommodated my dietary restriction with ease and provided an absolute feast for just the two of us, which was very special. (She doesn’t serve more than ~6 ppl at a meal.) Views from our room were fabulous and all else was perfect. Thank you again!

We did not sleep here but ate dinner and breakfast while walking the via di Francesco. The food was delicious and made from the heart. All in an intimate setting where we felt very welcome, like eating at a friend’s house. Elga is a very gracious host and we enjoyed speaking to her too

Casa Argenti is more than just an Airbnb, its an experiance. Amazing location in one of the most beautifull valleys of Umbria. A true authentic slice of rural countryside life. The room was situatied in a midieval village on the top floor with a spectacular view of the neighboring village. By far the best part were the owners, Elga was super kind, payed attention to details was a fantstic cook and kept the place in perfect condition. Marco, Elga's husband, made sure we had the absolute best time while we were there, he was our concierge, tour guide and so much more! A super host and was fun and funny!
