Avalon B & B

Arlene was a total super host! The room and house was spotlessly clean, the bed was really comfortable and all the bedding and towels felt new and good quality. She had thought of absolutely everything! The room had a large double bed, en-suite bathroom with a power shower and bath, a small fridge, tea, coffee and biscuits replenished every day, a wardrobe to hang clothes, a dressing table, good wifi and a TV in the room with lots of channels. Our room was on the roadside but it wasn't at all noisy. The B&B was only a 10 minute walk into the centre of Tarbert. There was lots of choice at breakfast and Arlene cooked a delicious cooked breakfast too with fresh brewed real coffee - all just perfect and the view from the breakfast room is incredible! ON our last day, we took the very early ferry from Tarbert and Arlene even made us a little packed lunch to take with us on the ferry - she is so lovely and thoughtful! Thank you so much Arlene - you made our stay in Tarbert just perfect! Highly recommend.

Great find, Arlene works very hard to meet perfection and she does a great job. Perfect host and would recommend a visit if you are in or around the area, rooms are very comfortable and a home away from home. Great breakfast and very well priced for what you get. Definitely will be returning.

We were lucky to make a last-minute reservation and we are so glad we did! Arlene was very welcoming and the room and facilities were perfect. Breakfast was delicious with excellent views from the dining room!
