The rooftop terrace had wonderful views. We enjoyed that. Very clean throughout. The kitchen with a coffee/espresso machine, refrigerator, and drinking glasses was appreciated. Very nice breakfast, pleasant helpful staff. Our room was uncomfortably tight. Difficult to get around the room because the bed was too big for the space. The door to the bathroom is about a foot from the head of the bed - a terrible arrangement. It was difficult to manage our luggage as there was no place to lay it flat except on the bed. The management has a good taste in decorating. There are nice touches in the common areas with flowers and art. If it wasn't for the tight, difficult to deal with room, I would give a higher rating. You may be confused when you arrive as you won't see any place to check in. If you listen, you may here someone call to you from what appears to be the dining area. The reception desk is in there. I accually witnessed a couple enter and walk around and leave. The way it happened, it didn't occur to me to help them until it was too late. There should be a sign indicating where the reception desk is.

Worst room I've been ever. Tiny, uncomfortable, with noisy air conditioned that does not function properly. Be warned: it's a bad return for the price you pay. Even more: it's more expensive on its own web site than in booking!!, I never saw that before. Otherwise, it is perfectly located in a precious town by the sea.

Two star hotel in the center of El Port de la Selva. For check in you have to to Hotel Porto Cristo just opposite. I had a nice room with no outside windows (only windows on the inside). Nice bathroom with excellent shower. Tv, airco and good Wi-Fi. The building is not well isolated, you can here what's going on in the room next to yours. There is a kitchen on the grond floor (sadly with a not working coffee machine and no water boiler) and two room terraces with a sea view on the top floor. Breakfasts available in the Hotel Porto Cristo for 12 EUR extra (price 2019). There is a bus service to Llança, Perelada and Figueres (a few buses per day).
