Albergo Genzianella

Close to Marmolada peak, but from this hotel we also visited Belvedere peak and the (Terrazza delle Dolomiti), the Pordoi Pass. There’s a good pizzeria just 5 minutes away – (nPizzeria Marmolada Camere). The room was simple, but nice. The host was friendly, and their dog was extremely friendly too. The hotel is pet-friendly – no extra charge. Breakfast was okay. Free parking available.

We stayed at Albergo Genzianella for a night after a mix up with our camp ground dates and it was a happy accident. The host initially didn't have any rooms because a group had come in just before me but it turned out there was still one available so he came out to the car park to offer it to us. We were very happy to accept, especially as they allowed pets! The hotel had finished serving dinner but directed us to a delicious pizzeria across the road. The room had everything we needed even if the shower was a little small. I can see it would be an excellent place to return to after a day on the slopes! Breakfast was delicious and there was a very good range of sweet and savoury European breakfast foods. Our puppy loved their beautiful Newfoundland and we would recommend staying here to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is clean, nice and great value for money. Rooms are spacious with clean showers and towels every day. The owner is really nice ( his dog too 😀). There's a nice "family" mood. Breakfast is awesome and you should try dinner with 3 dishes too. There's space for skis and a dedicated room for ski boots so they are dry and warm in the morning. Ski bus stop is 50m from hotel. I really liked our stay and would come back anytime!
