I stayed at Gaia residence a few days ago and it genuinely went beyond my expectations. The place was budget-friendly but still felt premium. The room was big, clean, and very comfortable with plenty of space to relax. The environment was peaceful, and the overall vibe of the property was really pleasant. For the price, it’s honestly one of the best stays I’ve had in Portugal. Would definitely stay here again.

We have been here for 4 nights- we have an apartment. Positive: Staffs is very friendly Cleaness is gut Room is big - comfortable It Has little small swimming pool and sauna but it is extra cost ( understandable) Location about 2,5km to center Porto , it is more quiet and calm here . You can use uber very practical and price is reasonable. Restaurant is great , cook good food, but only one time I got my spare rid in almost cold . I was not sure it is like this or it has to be warm, but it tastes fine. I love it. Negative: - basic thing missing for an apartment: trash bin, trash bag/ kitchen has a electric cable just laying on the floor, look not nice and could be dangerous for kids, microwave has no its place, it was next to water sink very dangerous. - very old kind of kitchenette , we have to take care while using. And the smell sucker doesn’t work( just in my room) - VERY NOT NICE THING HERE : you can even hear your neighbors “fart 💨”, babies crying, it LOUDS , my sleeping room is next to what ever room maybe bathroom . If someone open water tap. It louds . mornings I was woke up by it , it causes me anger and disappointment. Soundproof is poor. You can hear car outside 😞

Beautiful stay with good sleep and great breakfast and awesome staff: Although it was a bit outside of the old town of Porto, the location was pretty good, close to the Metro. The Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Rooms were large and clean, although the interior was a bit old. The view was pretty good and WiFi was reasonably fast. The whole staff was very kids friendly and understanding, when our son made a mess again. The rooms interior was a bit old, especially the shower over a bathtub was a bit dangerous, easy to slip. The isolation was not very thick, so rooms were noisy and one could clearly hear the neighbours sometimes. We liked it there a lot and with just a few improvements it could easily get 5 stars here. Full recommendation for families.
