Jolly Farmers

Carol was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble for her. The breakfast was excellent and freshly cooked. we were able to park our ebikes in the Laundry room. Carol also made fabulous recommendations for Pub and Dinner

I stayed here during my coast to coast walk and I couldn’t have picked a better place to. Carol and her team were excellent and ticked every box from tea and scones (which were great!),to drying our shoes and giving us great recommendations for dinner .I had a great night sleep and also enjoyed the breakfast as it was really quality and was a great start to the day . The rooms were really well done and were comfy and have electric blinds and a good shower .

Doing the Coast to Coast this summer with friends in two bites meant we stayed in Kirkby Stephen on 4 different nights across June and July, each time in the Jolly Farmers. This is a great place. Carol and her team run the place with great good humour and efficiency. The breakfasts are superb, and the rooms have everything you need. Highly recommended.
