Temple Croft Bed & Breakfast

An amazing place to stay! An absolutely gorgeous house, with lovely clean rooms, all well equipped and very comfortable. The Nookery was very spacious, and had everything we needed. Amanda and Paul are the most wonderful hosts, it feels like a home away from home. The food is delicious, and the garden was such a beautiful and relaxing place to sit and enjoy nature. I’d highly recommend staying here. Excellent value for money, and worth the trip. Don’t hesitate to book!

We had an amazing long weekend in The Nookery at Temple Croft. Thank you to the amazing chef Paul and wonderful host Amanda. Rooms were lovely, spacious and homely and kitchen was well equipped. The local pub and shop is a minutes walk away making it a very convenient location after a long cycle/drive. We can’t wait to come back.

We didn’t need to stay here to enjoy the warm hospitality of Paul and Amanda, although we will certainly be staying here next time! We had dinner here on our final night in Alston and were blown away by the hearty delicious food. Paul is an amazing chef who cooks with love - you can feel it when eating his fare! Both Paul and Amanda are also lovely hosts who make you feel incredibly welcome and taken care of.
