The Rebello, an SLH Hotel

We decided to book a one night getaway to warm up and escape the gloomy January days in Porto (we live in the city) and it was the best decision of 2026 so far! Our arrival was so welcoming - not only was our room ready earlier than check-in time, we also got upgraded to a bigger apartment. We came to celebrate an anniversary as well, and when returned to our room after using the lovely spa there was a little surprise waiting for us. The apartment itself is very comfortable, with a beautiful view over Porto. The bathroom is a bit small compared to the size of the room, but we did not mind at all (and loved the Claus body and hair products). The spa is wonderfully decorated but small, and you have to reserve a time slot. We were lucky with the hotel being relatively empty and therefore we had the spa for ourselves most of the time (and could stay longer than our 45 min timeslot), however I can imagine in busier seasons it gets more crowded/you will have less opportunity to enjoy it for a longer time. We also had a cocktail at the lovely rooftop bar and then dinner in the Pot & Pan restaurant. The dinner was fantastic (we shared the sole) and the staff was so friendly. We also purchased a bottle of their homemade hot sauce since it was so delicious! Thank you Rebello, for giving us a little rain escape! We will for sure return!

Absolutely loved this hotel! Such a beautiful design, great spa and views to die for. The service was relaxed yet efficient and the included breakfast was amazing. The free drinks in the mini bar were also a nice touch. My only feedback - the room service menu was quite limited and I would have liked to have seen more vegetarian options available. If you want to use the spa facilities go in the morning as it was much busier in the evening so less relaxing, Aside from that everything was great.

One of the best hotel views I've been to in a hotel that is considered "affordable luxury." The view from my balcony was absolutely beautiful. I highly advise paying a fee (I paid $40 per night) to secure in advance a balcony river view room as there are only a limited amount of rooms like this. You can use my picture to send to reception to reserve a room with this exact view (That is what I did in my stay in Feb 2024. Sometimes they have sales and I paid around $370 per night for my room.) The room was very spacious and very clean (I have very high standards for cleanliness). The rooftop bar was gorgeous as well and I got food there. Service was nice. They let me store my luggage after checkout so I can still enjoy the city. Its about 10 min Uber to a lot of the main parts of Porto. The view is something I still think about so that's the best part of this hotel. The Spa was okay - the water was just lukewarm. It's more like an indoor pool. The breakfast was pretty good and there were many options. The waiters at breakfast were nice. I rarely write hotel reviews but just thought the view here was too good to not share.
