Very disappointing experience at Hotel y Bungalows Balcón de Cómpeta. We arrived on a Friday night with a confirmed reservation made through Booking.com, but when we got there there was nobody at the property to check us in. No staff, no reception, no instructions, and no response when we tried to contact the hotel. Instead of enjoying a planned family dinner, we were left outside with three children, forced to start searching for another hotel late in the evening in a small town where options are limited. It was an extremely stressful situation for a family traveling with kids. Even worse, the property never responded afterwards.

A quiet, family-run hotel with friendly staff and amazing views. So handy to the town and all amenities and great value for money. It does require a fair bit of TLC, especially in the pool area but nonetheless we really enjoyed our holiday.

Comfortable hotel just off the centre of town. Nice rooms with strong shower. Very comfortable bed. Friendly, helpful staff. Would certainly stay again.
