Great place for our weekend stay. Lovely clean newly refurbished family room right next to the pool so very handy for young families (room 119). Pool times need to be booked at reception, but nice facility, clean and towels available. Had great meal in our arrival at the bar area. Good breakfast choices, buffet, loved the mushrooms and sausages. The chia pudding and berry mix particularly delicious! Great value for money and just a 15 walk to town, we'll come back!

We stayed here recently for a night, and were impressed with the room. It was really modern, cosy and clean. The furniture was nice and the bed was comfortable, we slept well. We didn’t have any food here but the staff at the front desk were helpful. I think for a 3 star hotel it was really good! Pricy, but that’s everywhere now. It didn’t feel like we were being ripped off. Very close to the INEC and a 5 min drive to the town centre.

Stayed here last night with 4 small kids (8,6,4 & 2) have stayed here numerous time when it was the Holiday Inn and always enjoyed our stay. We definitely didnt get a newly renovated room like stated on the website but was grand for what we needed. Reception Staff and Bar staff lovely, food was good. Kids were delighted to be heading to the pool this morning, was met by lady at the pool reception who there and then started laying down the rules to the children etc which was no problem at all (ignoring the filth of the dressing room and tiles around pool area 🤢) we headed into the pool, at the beginning we were the only ones there and when another couple came in she proceeded to tell my husband on more then one occasion we need to keep the children quiet because others were now in the pool, then our oldest climbed been the 2 step railing up to the childs pool and instead of approaching and explaining nicely she shouted at him from the other side of the room and then approached with an attitude. We then decided to just leave with 4 upset children as we weren't comfortable with every move the children made was being watched and commented on. I have no problem with her telling us the rules and explaining not to do certain things etc but do so with appropriate manner when dealing with young children. My husband then had to return to collect items left behind and when he entered she was discussing my husband and what happened with the woman in the pool which wasnt appreciated and shouldn't be discussed with other guests. My husband spoke with someone on reception about the matter "we'll look into it" is what he was told, hopefully this ladies attitude will be appropriate to the next family she meets
