Clopotiva Camping

We recently had an incredible stay at this camping site, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The owner is one of the friendliest and coolest people I’ve met, always going above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. He’s so generous and welcoming, even offering fresh seasonal fruits directly from the trees and ground - a delightful treat! The site is also dog-friendly, which made it perfect for our furry friend. The utilities are just what you need, reliable water and electricity, clean toilets, and refreshing showers. It was a joy to stay in such a well-maintained and thoughtfully managed place. If you’re looking for a camping experience where you feel like part of the family, this is definitely the spot! Thank you Andi for everything! ✌🏼

We loved the campground for its simplicity: easy find, cozy spots, welcoming owner, clean toilets and showers, and free of charge. Donations are encouraged as you appreciate it. Close to great hikes up in Retezat or in Tarcu or in Godeanu. If paragliding is your thing, just ask. This place easily brings people together. Stop by!

We stayed from July 31 to August 2 nights! This campsite is very quiet and beautiful and highly to be recommended! Andre is a perfect host, relaxed, funny and extremely helpful. And his dogs are very nice, too! The infrastructure is simple but clean and it‘s a perfect location to explore Retezat NP! 😎🇷🇴🫶
