Casale dei Pini

A clean and very comfortable environment surrounded by nature, yet somewhat secluded. Four couples stayed here, and we were spoiled by Anna's breakfasts and pampered by Orazio, the friendly and welcoming hosts.

We came here just to ride horses. We had previously asked that we wanted to canter and trot based on our experience. That was guaranteed. We also galloped, but only for about 2 minutes over the 1 hour trip - we were also barely at a trot. The experience was quite disappointing as we actually only went into the forest for a short time, turned around a bush three times and then walked several times across the stable's meadow. To make the hour full, we were led to the lungeing area at the end, where we were allowed to try cantering. But that didn't work because the horses didn't do anything without instructions from the leader. All in all: nice horses, nice stable, but nothing to explore the area on horseback. Wasted money.

Grazie ad Orazio e alla sua cordiale moglie per l’ospitalità e per averci atteso con una cena preparata nel nostro check-in a tarda notte. Abbiamo apprezzato la pazienza e la cucina genuina e casalinga con prodotti tipici del territorio. Il casale è immerso nella natura e nella pace della campagna pugliese, con cavalli bellissimi che arricchiscono lo sguardo. Ottima anche la proposta dei vini, pochi ma buoni! Continuate così!
