Gaststätte Isarwinkel

Only visited the restaurant. Food was delicious. Dined here twice during my vacation. Staff was friendly and food came out promptly. We could hear the kitchen pounding out fresh schnitzel! Highly recommend if you are in the area. Only flag for non German speakers is that the menus are fully in English. However, we used the Google translate app easily enough.

This is a very basic hotel. The area doesn't have anything apart from couple of good restaurants and supermarket 5-10 min walk. Single rooms are small and beds are even smaller. There is nothing called service here. No elevator. Even a luggage weighing scale isn't available here. Hotel is clean. Breakfast is average. Restaurant is good.

We went out to dinner last night here and we were pleasantly surprised. We tried the Schnitzel and the Ochsenfetzen dishes. Both dishes were absolutely delicious! We were unfortunately too full for dessert. We will definitely be coming back for that Kaiserschmarrn! Thank you again for the hospitality!
