There are beautiful places — and then there are beautiful places run by beautiful people. Masseria Calongo is one of them! We spent 5 nights in a big 3-bedroom family apartment, warmly decorated and spotlessly clean. Fabio and his mother Rosa greeted us every day with smiles and kindness, keeping everything at the highest standard even though it was their last week of opening before olive picking season and the seasonal closure. Fabio gave us great tips for our day trips to the nearby villages and served an amazing breakfast every morning, prepared with their own local products. The location is also perfect for exploring the Itria Valley. We will be back ❤️

This was such a fun beautiful place to stay and visit. We had a little trouble finding the hotel, but it was so worth it. The family who owns and runs the hotel were super nice and welcoming. Everything was immaculate. Bedding was comfortable and didn't smell of laundry detergent, just clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious and featured some of their own products. I just wish we had been there when they were serving dinner!
