An absolute gem of a place to stay and worth the small detour off the Via Francigena. Manuela is an amazing hostess. We were welcomed with a beer and crisps before being shown to our room which was extremely clean and comfortable and we had a private bathroom downstairs. We shared a delicious dinner including home grown produce expertly cooked by Manuela with 2 lovely German pilgrims who were in the other room. A lovely young girl from the Netherlands cycled up looking for a room and as there were none available she was allowed to put her tent up in the garden. She joined us for a lovely evening of good company and fun. Nothing was too much trouble for Manuela who also had a great sense of humour and we finished up with some of her homemade sloe gin. We enjoyed a delicious sparking white wine with our meal. All dietary requirements were catered for. Breakfast was also delicious with scrambled eggs from the hens. We were all sorry to leave this lovely place and all thoroughly enjoyed our experience there.

Excellent experience under every point of view. The quality of the place (rooms, food, bathroom) is very good. It is an excellent point from where to move on the Via Francigena. Manuela and her family are really great: I personally felt like I knew them since forever and like being at home. Highly recommended!!!

Clean dry and comfortable. Good shower. Hostess was kind, warm in her hospitality and gracious. food was truly delicious and included fresh ingredients from the garden. All in all a really good place and also good value. Good place if you’re cycling on the Via Francigena.
