YHA Elmscott Bunkhouse

Loved the peaceful, remote location - perfect for a quiet retreat. However, there are no nearby stores so come prepared. The rooms are a bit old, but the toilets were clean and well-maintained. The kitchen is spacious and fully equipped, which was a big plus. Overall a great stay for anyone looking to unwind in a tranquil setting.

Brilliant back to basics traditional youth hostel & bunk house. All rooms are bunk beds, and some of them are male & female dormitories. You have to be out each day for 10AM (a great way to ensure you get out and enjoy the surrounding area 😉), and you're allowed back in at 5PM. Run by volunteer wardens. It is very relaxed and peaceful. Great for families and walkers alike. All of the above is what makes this place great value 😎

Wonderful hostel! The volunteer wardens are very welcoming and friendly! The kitchen has all the equipment you could need and the hostel sells basics like pasta, milk and porridge oats (cash only). The sitting room is warm and cozy and the beds are clean and comfortable. Big thanks to the wardens and owners for making it such a great place to stay!
