Inn At The Sticks

Our visit to the Inn At The Sticks for lunch turned out to be one of our finest dining experiences for many a moon - so good we will be talking about it for months to come and recommending to family and friends . Exceptional flavour and taste to each mouth-watering individual small plate - think top quality tapas with a Welsh twist. Thank you to the delightful Mel also, who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The inn, which has rooms, is lovely - simply furnished, unpretentious and exuding a warm ambience. Do yourself a favour - if you are visiting West Wales any time soon or just hankering for food with a difference then reserve a table at this very special spot. You won't regret it - promise!

Went for lunch today and was very impressed. The food was amazing, everything had such wonderful flavour: each mini dish was quite complex with lots of little additions and garnishes that were all perfectly balanced and gave great depth of flavour. The presentation of each plate was beautiful. This is tapas style food but larger than you would expect, so each more like a mini main course, all of which was explained by the waitress. We went for 5 dishes based on advice which was just right, although we hadn't allowed for pud! We had a glass of red and white, both of which were excellent. It is quite expensive but great food, beautifully made from scratch with the best ingredients comes at a price. Lovely atmosphere in the pub with a few locals propping up the bar, tables really well spaced.
