I have never been treated so badly in a holiday cottage. The owner, at the end of our stay, yelled at us that we should have trimmed the trees and pulled up the weeds growing through the gravel (yes, you read that right!). She lifted the rugs to find dust even though we had vacuumed them. Cleanliness was lacking when we arrived (the toilet was dirty and I had to clean it myself). The living room is dark, but you get used to it, but the cottage is extremely noisy; we had a lot of trouble sleeping (it's located on a roundabout with a lot of traffic).
