Camping Latas - Somo Bungalow Resort

A really good location, nice staff— they all speak English! ALTHOUGH, low quality bungalows, they are cheap, and everything seems to break really easy. Our door key broke on day 3 and we could no longer lock our door. I’m sure it wouldn’t have been a problem for them to replace it, but it is just an example of the quality.

We took the smallest bungalow and it has everything you need. We arrived just after the end of the season, we are off season holiday goers and it was a perfect stay, two nights turned into five. For us it was location and a spot to cook and relax. All very happily achieved. Indeed the restaurant is closed and navigating the out of season times from the local restaurants is slightly precarious but the local Lupa supermarket is less than 15 minutes walk and is extremely excellent. We didn’t use the pool etc but imagine it is very busy mid season!

To start with, the service and location is perfect. We stayed in a bungelow. The rooms are small but very practical. One important thing where we think a 4-star camping shouldn’t save on, are the beds. They are horrible to sleep on. Me and my partner both having backache, already after 1 night. I’ve slept on the cough because that didn’t poke springs in my back. For the rest: excellent! Also the fact that the staff spoke English was nice for us, since we don’t speak Spanish. Thank you!
