Harbourside Cottage - Holiday Cottage in Charlestown

Always very friendly staff, excellent beers and well kept. Nothing better than a pint of Sharp's Special to take out and wander down to the rock pool with early in the evening as the sun's setting on your holiday. They show most live sports events there so it's a great place to watch if you're staying nearby as they'll let your kids in as well during the day so long as you sit at a table and they're quiet. Looking forward to returning next year.

The food we had was great. The service was prompt and friendly. The price was good, especially for a seaside village in Cornwall. They have a gin menu as well as a wine list and beer and cider menu. We were there on a Friday night in July and there were plenty of free tables.

Was looking for somewhere to eat, and this fitted the bill nicely. Prices marginally more expensive than I would expect to pay but portion sizes were good, and our party of 3 came away feeling full up. Decent modern decor, background noise (music and tv sound) actually not too loud, and polite staff.
