Hotel Tirolerhof | Familotel Zugspitze

We had a very nice few days at the hotel. Our room was beautiful and very clean (not only upon arrival, but throughout our stay). The children had plenty of opportunities to relax and were safely supervised. The food was also very delicious and my husband still talks about that wine. Most of the staff were smiling, kind, friendly and intelligent, but unfortunately not everyone. Unfortunately, our breakfast was regularly ruined by a young lady and a young man. The young man stood behind the counter every morning as if he was waiting to be executed. Once we tried to ask him for fried eggs, but we got scrambled eggs. At first we tried to tell him what was wrong with him, but since the gentleman spoke neither German nor English, he did not understand our problem. He shrugged his shoulders and turned to the other guest. We did not try again. The little lady with glasses behaved similarly. Whatever we asked or asked of him, he did not understand. Unfortunately, instead of asking for help, he walked away and pushed the counter a few meters away. It's unfortunate that the management doesn't see that there are people who are not suited to hospitality. This is something worth paying attention to, because a couple of unsuitable people can ruin a family's vacation.

Recommended. Food is great. Everything super clean. Stuff is so nice and there is many things for kids to do ❤️

Very nice and children friendly hotel. Room had a good size. There is an elevator that makes the connection between the garage and each floor. The food was good as well and plenty of choice at breakfast and dinner. Staff was nice too. It has a bit of garden with an outside pool, a sandpit and inside playroom which came very handy because we had two rainy afternoons. There is also an inside pool. I took one star away for two reasons: we had an all inclusive stay- lunch was quite poor, and we were told the water in the inside pool is warm. It was freezing cold! Apart from that we had a very lovely stay and the area worths going again!
