Self-Check-In - Schmittental Pension & Apartments

I stayed here for 4 nights and truly felt like this hotel was my second home. Everything was clean, well-organized, comfortable, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. The location is also perfect—just a 15-minute walk or 4-minute drive to the center of Zell am See. The staff were extremely respectful, friendly, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality made the stay even more special. Breakfast was so romantic and cozy, with a warm chalet-like atmosphere that made it feel extra unique. Highly recommended! 🌟

The hotel house is really well thought out. Its far away 6 mins from the intersection across the street uphill you can ski down to city express and ski in when you finish down from the schimmitten station thats really amazing after a long day. Service is good we got what we wanted everytime. Food at breakfast is amazing. Eggs are amazing. The down walk takes 15 mins to town. And the uphill is 7.5 to 10 euros per ride depending on each taxi.

All the great reviews are fully correct. The hosts Katrin and Rudi do really a wonderful job providing top-notch service. They gave us lifts from and to the train station, and brought us to the skilift for renting ski's and another time when we simply wanted to go early. The food is really excellent, truly varied high quality breakfast and all the meals in the evening (we ate there five times) were really very very good - and definitely good value! Hotel rooms are clean and nice, but above all it is the hospitality and service level that stands out!
