Albergo Lepontino

We had an amazing stay at Albergo Lepontino. The owners and staff were super friendly and really made us feel at home from the start. They have a wonderfull terrace with a beautiful view of the Monte Leone. We have been to seven huts this week and definitely enjoyed some nice food, but we had the very best here. Overall, I really recommend going to this hidden gem (it was not fully booked during high season!) on your trip through the Italian Alps.

Wonderful

We arrived late and were starving, so after being bounced to a mountain hut, we stopped here for lunch. The owner, even though she didn't have the entire menu, prepared us a delicious polenta with melted cheese, accompanied by a good beer, and then an excellent blueberry and ricotta tart. I can't say the prices are cheap, but you also pay for the difficulty of carrying the food up to the mountain. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
