Culacrick Bed & Breakfast

My friend and I had a good experience staying at Culacrick Bed and Breakfast. It was easy to find, private parking is available and the owner was very sweet an helpful, even letting us have the key beforehand (we were going on a tour) so we could come back late in the evening and let ourselves into our room. The room is big, there's a fairly new bathroom installed and shampoo, conditioner, body-wash is provided. The view of Ben Nevis is exquisite. There's free Wifi, tea, coffee and cookies in the room. In the morning, there's a small breakfast selection provided (croissants, bananas and porridge). Only minor thing; our bed was fairly squeaky which kept my friend up at night (I slept through, though).

We absolutely loved this place. The owner was very helpful and kind and despite our late check-in, everything was perfect. The rooms were nicely renovated and perfectly equipped. The whole house has a really nice atmosphere and made us feel at home as soon as we stepped in.

Having taken a whole month to do the NC500 and some extras, and staying in everything from wild camping to campsites, eco pods, hostels, airbnbs, and hotels, I can honestly say this was one of the warmest welcomes I received and one of the most comfortable and restful places to stay. I was really impressed with the immaculate room and en-suite and the gorgeous view of Ben Nevis. The covid safety was excellent and the tips for the local area were most welcome. If I am in the area again I will definitely not look further than Barbara’s place and will spread word to friends. Many thanks.
