Coniston Camping Hoathwaite

We had 2 nights here on our tour. Wish we had had more. Great site. Shower pressure was excellent and they were lovely and hot too. We managed a pitch very near the lake with was wonderful. The lovely family that owns it were very welcoming and helpful. Stunning scenery 💖

Really friendly and helpful owners, excellent clean facilities (the showers are great), overall a very relaxing atmosphere. Nice, quiet campsite which is a 20 min walk from the pub. Reasonable price too! Campsite has excellent views and allows for access down to a quiet beach This is the best campsite I’ve stayed in, if camping in the Lake District again, I’ll be coming back here!

Lovely camp site; loads of space, lots of families and small camping groups. Facilities (although at the top of the site so are bit of a walk from the lakeside camping spots) are clean and not at all busy. Very friendly service and reasonably priced.
